Betty Ann has taught preschool for the last 19 years and has no plans to stop because she loves the honesty and imaginations of her little pupils. A native of Brooklyn who now calls Cabarrus County home, she has served on numerous boards, including the Cabarrus Arts Council, and currently, the Old Courthouse Theatre. Her love of dance comes out with family during house parties, where they salsa, merengue and freestyle. Betty Ann’s Dancing for the Arts partner is Susan Jenio, an accomplished dancer who has taught, performed and competed professionally for nearly a decade.
